Nominate an Outstanding Citizen for the North Bend July Jubilee

Recommendations for outstanding citizens to be honored during the North Bend July Jubilee are now being accepted through April 31, 2020 to be voted on in May 2020. The Nomination Form can be found on the city’s website at www.northbendoregon.us , the July Jubilee website www.julyjubilee.com or picked up at the North Bend Visitor Information Center, 1380 Sherman Avenue – Highway 101. Submit the nomination forms to North Bend City Hall, P.O. Box B, North Bend, OR 97459. The three categories are Citizen of the Year, Lifetime Achievement, and Family for Continuing Contributions. During the recognition ceremonies in July, Outstanding Boy and Girl Graduates, chosen by the High School Faculty, will also be honored. We look forward to your nominations.

Jubilee Court Named

The 2019 North Bend Jubilee Princesses have been named. Congratulations to Princess Isabella, Princess Lillian, Princess Zoey, Princess Lila, Princess Randee and Princess Alyah. The Jubilee Court acts as community ambassadors. They will be present before during and after our city celebration in July Jubilee.

July Jubilee Parade Applications Available

The North Bend July Jubilee committee are pleased to invite you and your organization or business to join us for the 2019 July Jubilee Parade, which will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2019, along with a variety of other events to mark this special celebration.

The Theme for this year is ”ToGether We’re Better ”    (TGWB)

You will find the 2019 Parade Registration Form, an information sheet, and a map of the Parade Route below.  The line-up will begin at approximately 11:30 AM, Judging will begin at 12:00 Noon and the parade will start promptly at 1:00 PM.

Applications Available for 2019 July Jubilee Court

The City of North Bend is accepting applications for the 2019 July Jubilee Court.

Minimum qualifications to apply for the position of North Bend July Jubilee Princess are as follows:

Age/Grade Level: Must be a student in grades 9, 10 and 11 and be enrolled in the North Bend School District.

Education: Must carry a minimum of a 2.50 cumulative GPA and submit a copy of their current transcript with the completed application.

General: Should possess poise, intelligence, maturity, good morale character, good physical, mental, and emotional stability, as well as the ability to get along well with peers and the general public in order to represent the City of North Bend in a positive manner.

The selection process includes an essay and an interview.

Being a July Jubilee Princess is an honor and brings with it, community awareness and pride in our wonderful city.

Triple Crown 5k Run

Below is a link to the Triple Crown 5K Run which is a separate run than the July Jubilee Jaunt however a person can register for both and win both.  Everyone competing in the Triple Crown will receive a medal.  It is a three part medal one section for each run which will complete the entire medal.  The July Jubilee Jaunt winners will receive a myrtlewood medallion as in years past.

July Jubilee Accepting Parade Applications

On behalf of the City of North Bend we invite you and your organization or business to join us for the 2018 July Jubilee Parade, which will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2018, along with a variety of other events to mark the City’s 115th Birthday!.

The Theme for this year is  ”SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE”. The parade line-up will begin at approximately 11:30 PM, Judging will begin at 12:00 Noon and the parade will start promptly at 1:00 PM.

This year’s parade line-up is again being organized by North Bend Masonic Lodge and the Coordinator is Tom Shine and Bonnie Hayes. This will be the 7th year that the Masonic Lodge has helped coordinate the parade and we are all very excited to make this parade one of the best in the area!
